oops that was a long break...we just shifted to a newer, bigger place - so got a bit busy with various matters...
...today am touching a topic that sort of forms the underlying fabric for boosting net profits...

Am more a ‘faith’ man than ‘trust’ man...
Over years the commercial and materialistic worlds have been trumpeting about trust and how trust is the key thing in business, life… While heart of heart we know we don't believe what they say. How many times have we comes across distrust, deceit from trusted zones- take any great company ad - even the little kids know that what is shown is not trustworthy (however big the brand may be) - how many of us expect the same features/benefits 100 percent- same is true in relationships - why go far, look around you, the closest relations - You might trust the person but can clearly see the protocols being followed - but we don't know how to express it - or coin the situation in words. We blindly try to look for ways to increase trust because that's what all the BIG GUYS say so... …a lot has been written also about trust in relationships, trust banks- by great people like the great covey and so on… how to develop this trust and so on ...while I fully understand and agree with whatever they say… … somehow for me - faith overrides trust - trust demands proofs, there is constant need to meet conditions - faith is all encompassing, unconditional. Trust is very context based. Faith for me is fundamental and beyond contexts. A child sleeping in mother's arms, has faith that the mother will not kill it. And it does not even understand the nuances of trust. It is very evident in animals-a dog even if it is not a pet dog, will leave its puppies with only a select set of people - we say they can sense it. And as I see it, that is one of the reasons dogs are used for various purposes. How many times have you seen a dog become uncomfortable in front of the so called Trusted people. They can sense it. What is more we even believe that the sun will rise tomorrow morning - while who knows. The best and so called worst person on planet earth believes that sun will provide him with light. That is faith… While trust might be selling well, the world will be a far better place if people operated from a space of faith. And the great thing is faith is not based on your actions. If a 5 year old child were to hit you, do you hold grudges against it. No, Deep down you know that he is disturbed and did not mean any harm. This is true in the case of grown-ups also who hurt you, if you were operating from the faith domain.

And the greatest thing about faith is it is always full and completely available for each and everyone - you just have to uncover it, realise it. No strings attached. No questions asked. It is when ignorant many times educated people erode the fabric - or rather engulf the faith fabric with a layer of short term gain based intentions, the world has to then wrap the bitter pill with muticoloured attractive wrapping of words like trust, integrity. For me faith overrides trust. Everyday I am learning to have faith in at least one more person or thing in this world. I know it is a small beginning but I have faith that in doing so universal faith will dawn on me for inside the smallest of atom is the entire universe they say – and I have faith in what they say.

….Why FAITH becomes so important for boosting your net profits is that…once you start operating from a space of faith – lot of the anxieties, fears and pains subside – because you know, that you know, that you know that it will happen - it in a way sets you free from having to live upto to being trustworthy!!

Some Light Intro Stuff

This is also the name of our internal newsletter. This forms the base of our tagline "We boost your net profits". And I can assure you that amongst ourselves we have fought over whether this correctly defines our inetnt or not.
Neverthless, when we say Net Profits, our definition is slightly different from the ones that most of us are used to:

Common definition: Net Profits = Total Earning less Total Expenses
Our Definition:
Net Profits = Total Earnings less Total Expenses less Taxes less Pain suffered less Anxious moments less Sleepless nights less Spoiled relationships less Time for family less Confused mindless illness less Feeling of being trapped less Spiritual less...
(by the way - this is a copyrighted definition )

Thru this blog my goal is put forth various of our thoughts to bring out our intent.

But then what is this intent that you are referring to again and again:

Well...if we are to define it in one phrase, it is "Freeing People"

I know, I know, out there, there are zillions of financial advisors, who keep talking about freeing people - with primary emphasis on financial freedom.

For us, Freedom has a completely different connotation - some definitions that come close to what we believe...
- having the freedom to do whatever whenever wherever
- some talk in terms of freedom of choice
- but for us "Freeing" has a much deeper and soothing, rejuvenating meaning (while I can go on and on this, I would request you to go my blog "I am a Free Man" solely dedictaed to exploring this concept)

here I would like to stick to providing some basic ideas and beliefs that are for anyone to try out...
